THE GUGGENHEIM MUSEUM BILBAOS TENTH ANNIVERSARY EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS
More than one million visitors, some 450,000 participants in educational activities, more than 16,000 Museum Members, 148 corporations and institutions in the Corporate Members Program and 65% of its financing self-generated: such are figures with which the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao rounded off its first ten years.
The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao ended 2007, the year it celebrated its Tenth Anniversary, surpassing expectations and targets set in virtually all areas of activity. More than a million visitors came to the Museum in 2007, 10.26% more than the target set for the year. On 9 November the Museum celebrated its Anniversary with visitor number 10 million.
